With the increasing demand for dry cleaning vacuum applications, Edwards XDS vortex pumps have become the industry standard for vortex dry pumps, proving to be a durable and clean vacuum pump solution suitable for various applications and processes.
The Edwards XDS35i pump features an innovative bearing cover that isolates the vacuum environment from all forms of lubricants, creating a completely static sealed and oil-free clean vacuum environment. For applications such as rare gas recirculation and gas recovery, the Edwards XDS35iNGB optional model has removed gas ballast.
Type C is an improved version that is more suitable for the application of water vapor and certain corrosive substances. This chemically resistant version is based on the Chemraz internal valve and the outlet of stainless steel material.
Edwards XDS46i and XDS35i have many common characteristics, but the former has a peak pumping speed of 40m3h-1. The pump has been optimized for pumping speed (inlet pressure between 1 mbar and 10 mbar), making it suitable for the front stage pump of turbomolecular pumps.
The XDS35i Enhanced Edition (XDS35iE) features dual inlet and bypass valve technology, enabling it to handle applications outside the standard XDS35i pump operating range, such as preventing excessive compression of gas in vortex devices at high operating pressures and high throughput. The XDS35iE can operate without being limited by the size of the vacuum chamber or the frequency of cyclic pumping. This provides our customers with more opportunities to benefit from XDS vortex dry pump technology.
